Tend is a spiritual formation app designed to help you build a rhythm of grace. Your spiritual life is personal, and we treat your data with the respect it deserves.
Tend stores all your discipline tracking, streaks, reflections, and settings on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal spiritual data with anyone.
We collect anonymous, aggregated analytics to understand how the app is used — things like which screens are visited and general usage patterns. This data cannot be linked back to you. We never track the content of your reflections or which disciplines you practice.
When cloud sync is enabled, your data is stored via Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. Only you can access your synced data through your iCloud account. We do not have access to your CloudKit data.
Prayer requests submitted to the community Prayer Wall are shared with other Tend users. Only your first name and prayer request text are visible. We use on-device content filtering to maintain a respectful community. Prayer requests may be removed if they violate community standards.
Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We don't use push notification servers to send you marketing messages. You're always in control of when and how Tend reaches out.
Tend Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store and RevenueCat. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We receive anonymized subscription status information but never see your payment details.
We use RevenueCat for subscription management. These services have their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum data necessary for them to function.
Tend is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of Tend after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
