1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Tend ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Tend is a spiritual formation app that helps users build and maintain a rhythm of spiritual disciplines. Features include discipline tracking, an Evening Examen, a reflection journal, a community Prayer Wall, and seasonal liturgical themes.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Tend Pro is available through the following plans:

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings.

Prices are in USD and may vary by region. Apple handles all payment processing. We do not store or have access to your payment information.

4. Free Trial

New subscribers to the Monthly or Annual plan may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and you will be charged for the selected plan. Only one free trial is available per Apple ID. The Lifetime plan does not include a free trial.

5. Use of the App

Tend is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

6. Community Features & Content

The Prayer Wall and other community features require respectful, appropriate use. By submitting content to community features, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display that content to other users of the App.

You agree not to post content that is profane, hateful, threatening, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our community standards without notice. We use automated content filtering but cannot guarantee all inappropriate content will be caught.

You must not post personally identifying information of others without their consent.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code within Tend are the property of the developer and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on any part of the App without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Tend is a spiritual formation tool and is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, therapy, medical advice, or professional guidance. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App. Your continued use of Tend after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using Tend at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Active subscriptions can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
