Flows is available on Mac (macOS 12+) and iOS (iPhone and iPad, iOS 16+). Your data syncs seamlessly between devices with a Pro subscription.
No. You can start using Flows immediately without an account. An account is only needed if you want cloud sync across devices or Pro features.
The Pomodoro technique breaks work into focused intervals (typically 25 minutes) separated by short breaks (5 minutes). After four sessions, you take a longer break. Flows handles all the timing for you. Just press start.
Auto-schedule reads your task difficulty tags and places them intelligently. Hard tasks are anchored to your peak hours and never scheduled after 2pm. Dreaded tasks go first thing so you stop avoiding them. Easy tasks fill gaps. Buffers are added between heavy blocks automatically. One tap reshuffles your whole day.
Four levels: Easy (teal), Medium (amber), Hard (rose), and Dreaded (deep red). They're not just labels. The auto-scheduler, Focus Forecast, and weekly recap all use them to give you smarter insights about your workload and energy distribution.
Flows has five notification personalities: Pip (funny), KHAOS (unhinged), Atlas (coach), Aura (gentle), and Blair (sarcastic). They show up in timer reminders, streak protection, and focus prompts. Switch anytime in Settings.
A distinct visual space for ideas that aren't ready yet. No dates, no pressure. Access it via the Day / Month / Someday pill toggle on mobile. When a task gets rescheduled 3+ times, the move indicator will suggest sending it to Someday. Promote items to your day whenever they're ready.
Days with no tasks scheduled don.t break your streak — empty days are rest, not failure. And when life gets in the way of a busy day, Flows offers a quiet option to protect your streak without guilt. The message comes from your chosen personality.
Every Monday morning, a quiet card appears showing your week ahead: difficulty distribution, deep work windows, overloaded days, and one actionable suggestion. It helps you see what's coming before the week starts.
Yes. Work sessions can be set from 5 to 90 minutes, and break durations are independently configurable. Long break intervals and auto-start preferences are also adjustable in Settings.
Connect your Google or Apple Calendar in Settings → Integrations. Your calendar events appear alongside tasks in the week view, giving you a complete picture of your day. Flows reads your calendars — it doesn't write to them.
Yes. Flows works fully offline. Changes save locally and auto-sync silently when you're back online. Your data is never lost.
Themes change the entire color palette of the app, including accent colors and display fonts. Go to Settings → Appearance to browse and apply themes. Free users get 3 themes; Pro unlocks all 16+.
When you reschedule a task, it gets a move badge showing how many times it's been moved. At 3 moves, you get a resolution prompt: reschedule it again, make it recurring, send it to Someday, or archive it. It's a gentle nudge to deal with tasks that keep sliding.
Highlight a date-like phrase in your notes (e.g., "Friday" or "next Tuesday") and create a task from it. The date field auto-fills based on what you highlighted. No manual date picking required.
You can cancel anytime through Settings → Subscription in the app, or through your Apple ID subscription management. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Absolutely. Your tasks, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you enable cloud sync, data is encrypted in transit and stored securely. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
Share your unique referral link (found in Settings → Referrals). When someone downloads and creates an account through your link, both of you earn free Pro time. There's no limit on referrals.
